Pastor Gene Lisenby

NJCC has been my home now since June 2015. I have been married to my wife, Janet (Robertson) Lisenby since October 1983.  We have three daughters, Tuesdie, Lacie and Chelsie, all whom are married.  We also currently have 5 grandchildren.  In 1993, I yielded to the call of God to preach and serve Him faithfully and I am a third generation Southern Baptist preacher.

The Lord has blessed us with a wonderful God fearing church and a common goal to tell as many people as possible about Jesus Christ and the new life that can be experienced through knowing Him. We want to serve you as part of our community.

Our desire is to let you know that you are always welcome at New Journey Community Church and that you have an open invitation to worship with us at any time. We will make ourselves available to serve you.
